This mask contains Pink Kaolin Clay and Diatomite.
The primary constituent in kaolin is the mineral kaolinite, a hydrous aluminum silicate formed by the decomposition of minerals such as feldspar. The name kaolin derives from the Chinese and means high ridge. High ridge is a reference to the hill in south-eastern China where the clay was originally discovered and used.
Diatomite forms by the accumulation of the amorphous silica remains of dead diatoms (microscopic single-celled algae) in lacustrine or marine sediments. The fossil remains consist of a pair of symmetrical shells or frustules. The fine powder is made from the fossilized remains of tiny, the aquatic organisms whose skeletons are made of a natural substance called silica.
Warning : Always perform a patch test to check for skin sensitivity.
