Made with 40% whole clusters, the 2016 Pinot Noir looks to be the finest regular Peg Bay Pinot in some time. Its spicy, stemmy, sappy notes are balanced by bright, fresh black cherry fruit. It's medium-bodied, with a silky feel and a lingering finish that echoes with attractive tea-like nuances. Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate
Dense, seamless and flavoursome pinot noir with ripe plum, cherry and violet with a strong seasoning of spicy oak. Distinctive wine which is an expression of variety, place and winemaking. A youthful wine with potential. Bob Campbell MW
